2009 Honda Civic Hybrid Trim Overview

For those who want to do less harm to the environment, but aren’t ready to give up their car completely, Honda offers a stylish means to do so, the Civic Hybrid. Powered by a 1.3-liter gasoline/electric engine, the Hybrid gets a Continuously Variable Transmission and many other technical amenities, including traction control and an anti-skid system.

An automatic climate control system is a major change from the other Civic trims, further setting the Hybrid apart, the same as the mirror-mounted turn signals. Other standard features remain, with a satellite-ready CD/MP3 stereo with a digital media connection, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, mirrors, and doors, as well as remote keyless entry. Four-wheel antilock brakes stop the Hybrid's 15-inch wheels, and brake assist will help in that regard, while a tire pressure monitoring system will make sure you’re maintaining optimum rolling efficiency.
