Very Good For All Around Town And Commuting — Has anyone experienced a ticking noise in the engine at low revs? It sounds like the engine needs oil (it didn't). The dealer's tech compared it w/another 2009 coupe and said it made the same noise. It's very noticeable idling at a light and in reverse. Primary Use: Commuting to work

2009 White Civic Lx Coupe — Performance....... its a civic lx not an SI. It is a very smooth riding car, with very quick and responsive steering, handling pretty good for a front wheel drive car, and is very fun to drive. Great gas mileage, very low maintenance, very reliable. The exterior styling is the a great increase over last years model, honeycomb grill, black housing headlights with clear corners, and more aggressive sportier front bumper. build quality is as good as you can expect for such a inexpensive car. Civic Si — The car is great. I've owned 2 already and my husband had 1. Performance is good. Cost of ownership is great, it's a Honda so what do you expect. I love to drive the car, long trips or short. I drive it daily to work as well as have taken it on a 6 1/2 hour road trip to the beach. It's a great car. Not much else to say. | ||

ProsCar sat at the dealer for two years and was brand new with only 40Km on odometer. I got it for about $5000 less than original price since dealer wanted to get rid of it. What a sweet deal for two year/brand new car. It is our fourth civic. My wife drives 4 door manual and coupe is automatic. Five inch shorter wheel base makes coupe more fun to drive and toss in turns. Unbeatable handling for the money. Having fourth civic just proves our faith in Honda's reliability and all around practicality and simplicity. No single repair on altogether 5 Hondas we have had in last 16 years. ConsSomewhat artificial feel of steering comparing to 4 door model (2006 purchased in Oct 2005) I hate fuel economy. Never got less than 9L to a hundred Km while manual went as low as 6L. In winter sometimes coupe goes as high as 12L to a hudred Km. That includes some remote starting on very cold days and some spirited driving involved too. Air conditioner can't be turned off in widshield defrosting modes which again contributes to more fuel consumtion. Blind spots all over. One has to learn how to drive it but it's doable. Looking at rear of the car from the sides design is a bit out of place. I am not designer but something is missing. Some clicking noise when idling. Four door with same engine doesnt have clicking when idling.

Does Everything Well. Overall No Extremes, Good Or Bad. Really Nice Handling And Suspension. — This is our second car that replaced Hyundai Accent coupe (2000). Much better and more comfortable and sophisticated. Rear seat is not all that good but it's a coupe, and small one. Fun to drive and two years later I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Just with manual transmision. Big difference in fuel consumption. Probably needs very gentle driving with automatic transmision to get better fuel economy. I am simply not capable of gentle driving. I tried but the car simply whispers to be pushed harder. I guess I am done with my biblical review here. I hope it helps. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Road trip to CA returned 43 MPG, using cruise control at 70 MPH, on average. Exceptional braking, and never, ever got stuck in the snow thanks to FWD and variable power assist. | ||

Great Sports Coupe. — I never get bored driving this car. Take it to 5800 rpm's and have some fun. Even said, this car is still very cheap to own and practical to use as a daily driver. Be aware, it will not keep up with V8's and turbo 4's in the straight line category. A lot of fun on the back roads. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Amazing, And Gorgeous — i love this car, it has everything i could want or need. Its got an AUX cord so i can plug in my ipod without a hassle, or use the USB port. I love driving this car because i feel safe and i love how i can go forever on a tank of gas, it has the best gas mileage! | ||
