2009 Honda CR-V LX Trim Overview

Like all base trims, the biggest advantage to buying a 2009 Honda CR-V LX as opposed to the other five trims offered is the price - $21,245 MSRP instead of the $23,495 EX or the $22,445 LX 4WD. For the most part, the EX and EX-L trims add features to the LX base, but there are a few details unique to the LX other than the bottom line. The LX actually has about 2 more cubic feet of cargo space (103.8 cubic feet total). That’s not really enough extra room to notice, but at least you'll know you're not getting a smaller vehicle. It's also a slightly lighter vehicle than the other two trims (its curb weight is 3,389 lbs).

The 2009 CR-V LX may not have all the extras you want, but it's hardly bare bones – it has cruise control, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, 60/40 split rear sliding, folding, and tumbling seats, an antilock braking system, Grade Logic Control, and, of course, the famous CR-V mileage – 20 city/27 highway/23 combined mpg – that probably sounds fantastic for owners of almost any other SUV.
