Overview of 2009 GMC Yukon SLT1 4WD By Tim O'Sullivan
If all the added technology of the SLT1 appeals to you (that includes a Bose sound system, power-adjustable pedals, remote start, a rear parking assist system, and more), but you also drive in lots of bad weather or off-road muck, the 2009 GMC Yukon SLT1 4WD might be the trim for you. The SLT1 4WD gets the 5.3-liter, 320-hp V8 SFI FlexFuel engine, which can run on unleaded or 85 percent ethanol and gets 14 city/20 highway mpg, pretty good numbers for this size SUV. The four-wheel-drive system makes the SLT1 4WD about 200 pounds heavier (its gross vehicle weight is 7,300 pounds) and ups the maximum towing capacity to 8,200 pounds (the rear-wheel-drive version tows 7,400).
This overview covers the SLT1 4WD trim only.
