Denali: Great Car! — mileage! everything else about the car is great; exactly what I was looking for; has every amenity you could possibly think of (dvd player, back-up camera, remote starter, XM/satellite radio, tons of room, etc.) plus it rides like a dream.

2007 Gmc Denali — I live in Colorado, where capabilities of the Denali can regularly be used and appreciated. I drive the Denali on unplowed mountain roads with 20" of snow with an icy crust with no problem - and the heated windshield wiper fluid is a Godsend in a snow/sleet storm! This is one of the most capable winter vehicles I've ever driven. It has also been very reliable, with few problems. Pros: Stong engine with loads of torque and powerful acceleration; excellent handling for such a large vehicle; capabable anti-lock brakes; extremely comfortable on long drives; great storage capacity; high build quality - the new chasis on 2007+ Denalis is extremely stiff, so there are no rattles after 25,000 miles. Cons: Relatively thirsty, but actually not bad for such a large, capable vehicle. I get 14-15 mpg around town, and 18-20 mpg on the highway. I've actually gotten 22 mpg coming back to Denver from Aspen, but that's cheating because of the substantial net elevation loss. Overall, the Denali is an excellent vehicle for Colorado. It would be overkill in most parts of the country and, frankly, is a pain in the ass to manuver and park in urban environments. We live in Loveland, a small city of 60,000, so I don't have to experience the negatives unless I drive to Denver. | ||

I've Had Three. What More Do You Need To Know? — I have owned three straight GMC Yukon Denali's. Our first was a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali, then a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali, and now a 2009 GMC Yukon Denali. Excellent — excellent had 2008 bought 2009 great cars. If you compare the cost of one accident in this SUV versus a less safety rated car it is a small price to pay with medical bills exceeding $50,000 with one car accident with injuries.....makes you think it is down right cheap to operat...not to metion missing the ouch in the accident Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||
