Pros

Pickup, handling, awesome dashboard

Cons

Why isn't how great this car is better advertised?

I Have Driven A Ford Lately. — What a surprisingly nice vehicle. Plenty of pickup for a small, naturally aspirated car, and the Microsoft SYNC digital dashboard system is awesome. Gas mileage is also excellent according to the mileage indicator. Solid quality construction and thoughtful design touches rounded it out for me and made me want to trade in my existing car for one.

Pros

Efficiency, cost of ownership, handling.

Cons

Poor power, cheaply constructed interior, shoddy body-design.

A Great Car For The First-time Buyer Or Cost-mindful. Should Not Be Considered For Safety! — This car has very poor performance in the areas of acceleration and power, but makes up for it in the handling of the car. Its stock Kumho's keep the car glued to the road outstandingly for the level of performance that it has. The build quality of the car exceeds my expectations for it, however Ford's use of cheap plastics in its construction leave something to be desired. The car is relatively cheap to maintain, so far not requiring any extraneous costs outside of anticipated maintenance. Getting nearly 40 miles to the gallon, depending on how you drive, the car far exceeds my expectations in it's efficiency department. As far as the appearance, it leaves a little to be desired with the clashing aggressive front-end and relatively mild body-lines and rear, and it gives the impression that the car has more power than it does (The wide open front bumper would fit an intercooler nicely. You listening, Ford?) Overall, the car is fun to drive with its above-average handling, but ultimately fails in the performance sector. It's efficiency and cost of ownership make it a very average car, however.

Everything

Cons

The Cost of Petrol

Focus Wrc Replica — My Focus WRC Replica has Amazing Performacne and the 2 Litre really has great Acceloration, the braking is great thanks to Brembo 4 pots, Build Qualitys good, I love the interior is nice because I have changed it to a Rally Spec, the Exterior styling is nice and the body kit is good. It is quite expensive to run but if you want a fast car you can't just pay chips for the petrol. There isnt much Maintenance apart from when in Rallies. It is very fun to drive and love driving it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Life With My '09 Focus 2.0 Duratec — Good looking car with a sporty line and nice handling, sometimes i feel it has a little bit lazy acceleration because its weight (1327 Kg), but stills a well built and reliable car. Very comfortable seats and has space for family and cargo...

Solid but not awe inspiring.

2009 Ford Focus Hatch — Not a bad car. A bit plain jane but it is 2 litre, not the 1.6 so it goes ok. Understeers too much which can be dangerous in the wet. Has been reliable so far. The tipronic is good but only a 4 speed.

2009 Ford Focus Se — I have been driving my focus for 2 years now. It's a good reliable car to get around town in. It handled nicely and and felt link i was fully in control. The steering was a bit to firm for me though.

Hot Ride — Appearance: appearance is classy both exterior and interior Performance: Acceleration is good even on the steep heel while driving on gear 5, breaking is not really reliable when you hit a dead break, handling is brilliant especially on water driveway

Pros

Love my car!  Sporty-looking, surprisingly big interior with lots of front seat leg room for my 6'6" husband and son.  Huge trunk with fold-down back seat makes it easy to fit longer purchases.  Terrific gas milage -- in the low-mid 30's for city driving.  Powerful AC/heater.  Good radio/stereo.  Perfect size to buzz around in...

Cons

Not the greatest car in the winter. Think I'm going to invest in snow tires, as my all-weather radials aren't cutting it. Doesn't have the best power on steep hills at higher speeds.  Back seat is a little cramped for my tall kids.

Pros

The Sync System on this car is what places it above anything else in it's class.

Cons

I wish it had a bit more power and torque and a little lowered suspension, but for what it came with for the price I paid, it was a steal.

Overall...this Car, In My Opinion, Is Better Than The Mazda 3 Or The Civic. — Performance is above average. I wish it had a bit more power. Maybe after I install better exhaust, intake, and tweak the CPU a bit I'll definitely see a difference in the power. Also once I lower and stiffen the suspension the overall look of the car will be more aggressive...much like how I drive. Once the performance chip is modified, the gas mileage should get even better. This is really a fun car to drive along with your friends.
