Overview of 2009 Ford Expedition Limited By Tim O'Sullivan

If the Pueblo Gold bumpers and trim on the Expedition Eddie Bauer trims are too much for you, but you like all the added gadgets (and maybe want a few more), the 2009 Ford Expedition Limited is worth a look. The Limited replaces all that gold with a monochromatic appearance, with body-color running boards, bumpers, and side mirrors (which are power-folding and adjusting, heated, and come with security approach lamps and integrated turn signals). Other exterior features include 18-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels, headlamps with blackout treatment, rain-sensing wipers, chrome roof side rails with black crossbars, and the heavy-duty towing package.

The interior has all the Eddie Bauer features, but upgrades with a rear-view camera, power rear quarter windows, a power liftgate, a universal garage door opener, heated second-row seats, and 10-way power captain’s chairs for the driver and passenger that are both heated and cooled and come with power lumbar, recline, and memory for the driver. The Limited shares a drivetrain with all the Expedition trims – a 5.4-liter, 310-horsepower Triton V8 with a six-speed automatic transmission.

This overview covers the Limited trim only.
