Overview of 2009 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD By Tim O'Sullivan
The 2009 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD has all the same highlights as the Eddie Bauer with two-wheel drive – a 5.4-liter, 310-horsepower V8, a 340-watt premium sound system, a 10-way power driver’s seat, and Pueblo Gold bumpers, lower bodyside moldings, wheel-lip moldings, and running boards – plus Ford’s Control Trac four-wheel-drive system. This system allows the driver to operate in either high or low four-wheel-drive mode, an automatic 4X4 mode in which the vehicle shifts traction between the wheels as needed, or a more fuel-efficient two-wheel-drive mode, all with the turn of a knob. Like all the 4WD trims, the Eddie Bauer 4WD comes with front tow hooks. It’s maximum towing capacity (with the available heavy-duty towing package) drops to 9,000 pounds from the 9,200 maximum of the two-wheel-drive Eddie Bauer.
This overview covers the Eddie Bauer 4WD trim only.
