Overview of 2009 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch By Tim O'Sullivan
Given the “King” in its name, the added size and space the EL trim offers seems only right for the 2009 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch. Like all the EL trims, the EL King Ranch Limited is about 15 inches longer than the non-EL, has an extra 22.5 cubic feet of cargo space, 15 more inches of shoulder room in the third row, a 12-inch longer wheelbase, and 5.5 extra gallons in the fuel tank. The EL King Ranch also adds a cargo organizer and a 60/40 fold-flat split to the third-row bench seat. Its maximum towing capacity (with the available heavy-duty towing package) dips from the King Ranch's 9,200 to 8,900 pounds.
This overview covers the EL King Ranch trim only.
