Pros

Has more power than 5.7L HEMI alone. It has been averaging 20mpg with mixed driving. I drove from Alabama to Texas last year following an ambulance our church was donating to a mission in Honduras. At average speed of 55mph, I averaged 26 mpg.

Cons

The transmission just was not designed with the hybrid in mind. The transmission felt like it was slipping. Then the check engine light came on. It took Chrysler and my dealer 2 months to figure it out and get it fixed. Thank goodness for the extended warranty. But I was without all my Aspen Limited toys for 2 months and stuck in cheap rentals!!!

Lots Of Room, Seats 7 Comfortably (for Short Trips) And Good Gas Mileage. — The transmission was not designed specifically for the hybrid; thus, it seems to get confused. I am a field rep for a pacemaker company. I have a half million worth of gear in the back end and there is plenty of space for all of it. Driving across northern Alabama, it gets great mileage for its size. Overall I like it. I had to buy it used since Chrysler had discontinued making them. I bought my 2009 Aspen Limited HEV in May 2010.

Pros

Great in bad weather, great in good weather, need to move something big.....it's nothing. Style is a head turner. I believe this truck rivals any out there.

Cons

Interior could be more luxurious but if that's what you want get the top of the line aspen.

Looking For A Rugged Truck With Style....whether A Night On The Town Or Moving A Dresser. It Works ! — I love this truck. Although it uses gas. What real truck doesn't? I can do just about anything with it. I've moved as many as 6 bikes inside. I've used it to go to a ball with senators. It never goes wrong. Power is great. Handling is really good for as big a truck that it is. Best of all it has held its value well throughout.

Ahhh — Love it but.... It is a CHYRSLER not the best build quality. But it is probably as fast as a current charger 2.7. It looks great is comfortable, but is also bad on gas, like 9 miles to the gallon bad.

Love It! — I bought another one of the same options because I love this car so much! Do not know why you don't make them anymore. Heck I would even be in a commercial about how I ran out and bought two of them because I love my Chryler Aspen so much! Chip
