The only addition to the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LT2 AWD from the LT2 trim is, that’s right, Chevy’s all-wheel-drive system. This system improves handling in slippery weather or off-road conditions, but unlike other AWD systems, does little to detract from mileage. The LT2 AWD gets 16 city/23 highway/19 combined mpg while the front-wheel drive LT2 gets 17 city/24 highway/19 combined.
