Overview of 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT3 4WD By Eric Tallberg

On-demand, shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive (4WD) is what motivates the 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT3 4WD, with a little help from its standard 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder (I6) engine and four-speed automatic transmission. This drivetrain combo synchronizes with the center locking differential, auto-locking hubs, and electronic hi-lo gear selection of the 4WD unit to provide the ’09 TrailBlazer LT3 4WD with go-anywhere/go-anytime traction at 14/20 mpg.

Standard and optional safety, appearance, comfort, and convenience features with the ’09 Chevy TrailBlazer LT3 4WD mirror those of the rear-wheel-drive LT3. Four-wheel ABS, traction and stability control, front and rear head airbags, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a single-CD player, power sunroof, Bose premium speakers, leather trim, rear-seat DVD entertainment, and, of course, 80 cubic feet of cargo space are among the numerous goodies pampering and securing driver and passengers in the ’09 TrailBlazer LT3 4WD.

This overview covers the LT3 4WD trim only.
