The 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT1 is the base entry in Chevy’s eight-year foray into the midsize SUV market. The rear-wheel-drive, five-passenger, five-door TrailBlazer LT1 offers 80 cubic feet of cargo space (with the rear seats folded), and comes equipped with standard 17-inch alloy wheels, a roof rack, front cloth bucket seats with an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, split-folding rear seats, power windows, door locks, and mirrors, cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, tilt-wheel steering, a front console with storage, single-CD player with six speakers, Sirius/XM satellite radio, and Chevy’s OnStar hands-free communications with Bluetooth technology. Options for the ’09 TrailBlazer LT1, meanwhile, include a power sunroof, Bose premium speakers, and on/off-road tires, while standard safety features include four-wheel ABS, traction and stability control, front and rear head airbags, a remote anti-theft alarm, front fog/driving lights, and the OnStar post-collision safety system.

The ’09 Chevy TrailBlazer LT1 packs a standard 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder (I6) engine and four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. This team puts out 285 hp and 276 lb-ft of torque, enough to tow 5,900 pounds of trailer with the standard tow hitch. The EPA rates the ’09 TrailBlazer LT1 at 15/21 mpg.
