Equipped and optioned identically to the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) LT1, the 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT1 4WD, as its moniker implies, offers the additional safety and traction of on-demand four-wheel drive (4WD). When confronted with severe weather or less-than-ideal road conditions, the ’09 TrailBlazer LT1 4WD’s shift-on-the-fly 4WD system features auto-locking hubs, a mechanical center differential, and electronic hi-lo gear selection that will get this midsize, five-passenger, five-door SUV through it all in style and comfort.
