The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LS 1500 4WD comes equipped with Chevy's Autotrac four-wheel-drive system, which features a push-button transfer case and provides optimal stability and traction in all types of driving conditions. It channels power from a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine, which generates 310 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque. The V8 engine mates to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, which replaces the previous year's four-speed automatic.
