2009 Chevrolet Express LS 3500 Trim Overview

Pretty much identical to its 2500 LS sibling, the standard-wheelbase, rear-wheel-drive 2009 Chevrolet Express LS 3500 offers standard 12-passenger seating, 204 cubic feet of cargo space (with the rear seats removed), basic creature comforts, and a commanding road presence. In common with the LS lineup, the ’09 Express LS 3500 offers front vinyl bucket seats, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo as standard equipment, with power accessories, alloy wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, and leather accoutrements, among other goodies, as available options. The ’09 Express LS 3500 is not available with all-wheel drive.

As with the LS 2500 trim, the ’09 Chevy Express LS 3500 is powered by a standard 6.0-liter V8. But in the 3500 this engine is mated with a heavy-duty four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a tow/haul mode. Pounding out 323 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque, the ’09 Express LS 3500 can tow some 8,500 pounds when properly equipped.
