2009 Chevrolet Express LS 3500 Ext Trim Overview

Stretched over a 155-inch wheelbase, the rear-wheel-drive, five-door (including a single, swing-out, rear side passenger door and two back swing-out doors) 2009 Chevrolet Express LS 3500 Ext provides seating for 15 passengers, or, with the rear seats removed, 253 cubic feet of cargo space. Standard creature comforts and optional equipment are identical to those of the standard-size LS 3500, including front bucket seats, air conditioning, and cruise control, as well as an available 6-CD changer, towing package, and power-adjustable front seats. The ’09 Express 3500 trim level is the only one to offer an extended version.

Powered by a standard 6.0-liter V8 and four-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode, the 2009 Chevy Express LS 3500 Ext puts out 319 hp and 367 lb-ft of torque. This combo can also tow 7,600 pounds of trailer when properly equipped, and is rated by the EPA at 14/17 mpg.
