The 2009 Chevrolet Express LS 2500 differs from its LS 1500 sibling by offering, among other things, a pass-through second-row seating configuration and a beefier engine. Thus, in its standard construct, the five-door, rear-wheel-drive ’09 Express LS 2500 is a 135-inch-wheelbase, seven-passenger van with the ability to carry 204 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats removed. The ’09 LS 2500 is unavailable in an all-wheel-drive configuration.

A 6.0-liter V8 engine, churning out 301 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, and six-speed automatic are standard for the ’09 Chevy Express LS 2500. EPA estimates for the 6.0-liter V8 engine are unavailable, but it’ll tow 7,600 pounds when properly equipped.
