2009 Chevrolet Express LS 1500 AWD Trim Overview

Able to tote eight passengers, or 204 cubic feet of cargo without the standard rear bench seats, the five-door 2009 Chevrolet Express LS 1500 AWD passenger van provides the added traction and safety of full-time all-wheel drive (AWD). This hulking van is not the first choice for the typical commuter or for trips to the mall, but the ’09 Express LS 1500 does provide a more-than-adequate platform for moving up to eight people, with their entire collection of luggage, from here to there.   

Equipped identically to the rest of the LS 1500 trims, creature-comfort-wise, the ’09 Express LS 1500 AWD offers a 301-hp, 325-lb-ft/torque, 5.3-liter V8 engine that’ll haul some 7,300 pounds when the available trailer tow package is chosen. An E85-friendly Flex Fuel version of the 5.3-liter V8 is also an option.
