2009 Chevrolet Equinox LS AWD Trim Overview

For those wanting extra traction and security in winter weather, the 2009 Chevrolet Equinox LS AWD offers full-time all-wheel drive to go along with its standard 185-hp, 210-lb-ft/torque 3.4-liter V6 and standard five-speed automatic transmission. The ’09 Equinox LS AWD features a mechanical limited-slip center differential, but no skid plate or low AWD gear. Taking the ’09 Equinox LS AWD on any serious off-road expeditions is not recommended.
