The Regular Cab 2009 Chevrolet Colorado Work Truck 4WD offers the same standard features and available options as the rear-wheel-drive Regular Cab Work Truck, but adds the extra winter traction and off-road versatility of part-time, shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive (4WD).

The ’09 Colorado Work Truck’s standard 185-hp, 2.9-liter inline-four engine, in combination with the standard five-speed manual transmission, grinds out 190 lb-ft of torque in 4WD at an EPA-estimated 17/23 mpg. Skid plates, electronic hi-lo gear selection, and auto-locking hubs make the ’09 Colorado Work Truck 4WD a more-than-capable off-road vehicle.
