Awesome Aston From A Lucky Owner — Car that blends effortless performance with style and the ultimate feel-good factor when you drive it. Not cheap to run, but have never had a problem with it (fingers crossed) and am now on my second version. Love having the roadster, as it gets you even closer to that intoxicating noise. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsExclusive ConsNot a daily beater

Love And Hatred — Everlasting looks. Sharp and sexy....but not reliable in some sense impractical, with the price tag AM could deliver a much faster car. Nevertheless, theres always something that attracts you in some ways, and in this case the emblem and the looks. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsLooks, the Aston badge, V8 rumble, handling ConsAustralian pricetage, power shortage, fuel consumption, Ford-sourced interior switchgear.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage — It's a little bit down on power compared to a Porsche or the V12, but it's one of the best looking and most characterful cars on the road today. It's engine note, and it is a note, is sweeter than all but a Zonda's. The asking price for the Vantage is significantly higher in Australia than in Europe, and you could spend $100K if you go crazy with the options list. Some of the switchgear is sourced from Ford, however it's laid out in possibly the best looking interior ever made. Aston is becoming a little vulgar, however, with a crystaline 'Emotional Control Unit' AKA 'Key' and a brochure filled with images of perfect couples drinking wine and engaging in a passionate embraces in the middle of nowhere. Difficult to split the Vantage, the Maserati GTS and the Alfa Romeo 8C, though. It's really just up to your personal preference. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Not more to say. Althought I drove it more abroad than in Greece I cannot say that I enjoyed as much as the Boxster. It has class thought and it gives you a flavor of a James Bond movie. o.k. Read More
