CarGurus Overview
More high-tech gadgetry comes with the 2009 Acura TSX 6-spd with Tech Package. The first notable feature is the voice-activated and touchscreen navigation system, equipped with real-time traffic updates and a Zagat restaurant guide. The second Tech Package feature is a 10-speaker surround sound audio system with a 6-CD changer, MP3 input, and satellite radio.
Otherwise, this front-wheel-drive sports sedan does not vary from the non-tech version. Standard equipment includes a full power setup, remote entry, a garage remote, wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, power mirrors with a reverse-tilt feature, a sunroof, and an 8-way power driver's and 4-way power passenger seat. The driver's seat comes with memory settings. Leather adorns the seats and steering wheel, with alloy trim on the center console. Heated front seats, a trip computer, a temperature display and compass, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, tilt and telescopic steering, and intermittent wipers are all part of the 2009 TSX 6-spd with Tech Package. Front legroom is spacious, at 42 inches, but rear legroom suffers, with only 34. The rear seats split-fold onto a 12.6-cubic-foot trunk.
Under the hood is a 201-hp, 2.4-liter iVTEC DOHC inline-four engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. The sedan sits on a double-wishbone front and rear multilink suspension and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires. The tires come with a pressure monitor. In terms of safety, you get 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, traction and stability control, front and rear stabilizer bars, and dual front-side and side curtain airbags for each row. The front passenger bag has deactivation sensors. In the lighting department, the 2009 TSX 6-spd with Tech Package offers foglights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic headlamps, xenon HID lights, and daytime running lights. Mirrors with turn signals are also standard. No options are offered.
This overview covers the 6-spd w/ Tech Pkg trim only.
