Great Car, I'm A Vw Freak — The car is all around great, looks, performance, a quality car from front to back. The gas mileage is good, with a V6 and AWD its about as good as you can get. The car is a lot of fun to drive, with sport mode, and the paddle shifters, there are multiple ways that it can be driven.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Update To Previous Review — I just got back from the local VW dealer where I talked with one of their service managers. Here's the scoop: In the standard drive mode, the timing and fuel mapping is more "conservative" than in tiptronic or Sport modes. This means that when I nail the throttle in the standard mode, the engine management computer gets "confused" briefly because it is expecting a gentle start. If I put it in either of the other two modes, it changes completely. the fastest launches are achieved by using the sport mode, leaving the traction control on and, with one foot on the brake, bringing the revs to 2500. Launching is done by lifting the brake foot and hitting the throttle - no lag, just gone.

Pros

Handling, Grunt, awsome sound

Cons

DSG gearbox

Good German Build — I personally do not like the DSG gearbox with the F1 pedals. The sound is the best! The first version that was out a few years earlier is classier buy. They also have manual gearboxes and a nice blue coloured version with full recaro seats. The gas milage is pretty high. The fun factor around the twists and turns is unbelievable. It really sticks to the road in any condition. also great fun in the snow with the 4 wheel drive.

Awesome Vessel — Fantastic handling and grip in all weathers. Usuable everyday performance. Decent economy for a 3.2 litre V6, (28mpg). Does everything brilliantly and gives a smile every mile!! Simply the greatest all rounder available, for affordable performance motoring. Check out www.R32OC.com

A Perfect And Beautifully Engineered German Car. — She is a sporty car. Fast, great on turns, a thrill to ride and i think is a very safe car. The engine rev is amazing and the pick up speed is also amazing. I think the perfect 2 door coupe sports car on the market today.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Car, Soundtradck Is Amazing, Refined. If You Can Afford It Then A Defo On The To-buy List — awesome burble when you fire it up and amazing soundtrack when you go for a spirited drive! great handling to match the power. lacks cupholders adn the seats can be a little uncomfortable for longer journeys. they don't make these anymore, its going to be a classic!

Great all-around performance, excellent quality

Cons

Gas mileage isn't so hot, not as fast as other cars in its price range

It's A Vw, So It's Esoteric. If You Aren't A Dubber, You Probably Don't Understand. — Performance isn't mind-blowing, but it's enough to put you back in the seat. Being a heavy AWD car with only 250 HP, it won't be destroying any Mustangs off the line, but it's enough to smoke most cars on the road. The build quality's fantastic - no rattles, solid, quality materials, a GREAT steering wheel - the interior's a great place to spend time. I'm at around 30,000 miles and so far no Warranty issues have come up at all.

Performance & sound

Cons

gas bill

Wolf In Sheep's Clothing — good performance, acceleration even in lower RPM for a V6, lovely manual shifting, sporty yet comfortable bucket seats, fantastic & quite aggressive sound for a factory exhaust, suspension a bit too soft and center of gravity should be lower overall a real nice ride for any occasion, understatement pure!
