Best Pick Up Truck I've Owned — One of the best all around pick up truck you can own. The new bulky look made this truck compete with American made pick up truck without lacking power and torque. Mainly it's made by the company known for its reliability.

Best Truck On The Market! — This is the best full size truck you can buy. It has a great engine that produces a powerful 381 horsepower. The Crewmax is very roomy even for 5 full size men. Hopefully they will find a way to get over 20mpg in the future.

Awesome So Far — No problems for 85K miles - towing and breaks are great. LTD edition has lots of extras. fun and easy to drive. Extremely reliable. one weakness is the navigation system - not intuitive or user friendly. overall it has been an excellent vehicle for towing boat and general over the road travel.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

20 MPG with 5.7 and 4.30 gears

Cons

I can think of none. I may be  biased as I sold my previous Toyota with 330k on the clock with nothing more than regular pm, one alternator, one O2 sensor and an ignition switch replaced.

No Regrets. — Toyota quality is unsurpassed. I believe the recent unintended acceleration recall was a low point for the manufacture, (Toyota should have acknowledged the issue sooner) but they resolved the problem with no related issues since. I would have no concerns about purchasing another Toyota product.

'08 Tundra — This truck has done every single thing that I've asked of it. It runs great. The gas mileage isn't the best, but then again, it's a four wheel drive truck. There have been no maintenance issue with this vehicle. It's Great!!

Great Truck — Fantastic truck. Plenty of power and torque with smooth shifts. Interior is very wel laid out and the optional Red Rock leather looks great. Very reliable with low cost maintenance. The only change I would make would be to upgrade from the factory tires.

Great Powerfull Truck — The only thing I want to change is the gas mailege a friend liked this so well he went and bought a new one .This is the best truck I have owned. People look when you drive down the road. Because of the slight lift it sets it appart from others. The TRD air intake should help with better fuel milage. The exhaust system is a low rumble not a blarring loud noise.

Fun To Drive, Sexy Truck — This is the perfect car to take on family vacations, or if I want some power the v8 5.7 liter has plenty! Although I usually only average about 14mpg, i feel safe taking my family around in our Tundra because it's a beast on the road

It's A Great Vehicle For Doing Anything, And I'd Strongly Recommend It To Anyone. — I love my truck! The power from the 5.7L V8 is enormous, and it passes just about anything without even needing to put my foot to the floor. The transmission shifts smoothly (almost un-noticeably), and is never afraid to go down a couple gears if need be. The brakes are strong and sure, and the handling is awesome. The steering is light and quick in town and heavier on the open road, like it should be. Gas mileage is great for a truck of this size, so far I'm averaging about 18MPG.The quality is another strong point for this truck (it is a Toyota, after all!). No rattles, squeaks or misfitting panels. Everything is assembled with laser-like precision and fits perfectly. The paint quality is also outstanding. The styling is another plus, it just looks brawny and mean, while still maintaining flowing lines, unlike some of its competitors, ahem....Ford. Overall this is the best truck on the market, and I wouldn't own anything else. Completely stock at the moment, except for a newly-installed K&N 77-series Cold Air Intake.

Pros

Great truck and I LOVE the fact that it was built in Texas and not Canada like Chryslers or Mexico like FOrds and Chevys.

Cons

Acceleration doesn't really feel like a V8 and seats are stiff.

Great All Around Famiy Truck. — I love my Tundra. I have used it to tow a trailer with ATVs, my WaveRunners,, and even used an 18' trailer to tow a friends Ranger 30 miles. It has done everything I have asked of it. I just wish I could have afforded the 5.7l with 6 speed auto instead. Paint scratches REAL easy though and tan is VERY hard to keep clean. Rear seats are easy to put a car seat in and access is fast.
