A step up from the Base model, the 2008 Toyota Matrix XR features a well-equipped interior with plenty of cargo space and a variety of seating configurations, thanks to a passenger seat that folds flat and a 60/40 split fold-down rear bench seat.
The Matrix XR also comes with such features as remote keyless entry, an illuminated entry system, and power windows, as well as a tire pressure monitoring system, an advanced airbag system, and a four-speaker AM/FM stereo system with a CD player.
Outside, the Matrix XR displays a sporty design, with a slanted nose, a swept-back roofline, aerodynamic halogen headlights, and 16-inch wheels that add to the Matrix's sporty design.
The XR's powerplant consists of a 126-horsepower, 1.8-liter, double-overhead-cam four-cylinder engine linked to a standard five-speed manual transmission or optional four-speed automatic.
Options include power door locks and an upgraded JBL sound system, as well as various features that are part of add-on packages.
