Pros

Great commuter car, especially in winter climates. Subaru has made this a very affordable all wheel drive car that handles exceptionally well. Very reliable with low maintenance costs.

Cons

Plastic interior, cheap stereo and speakers. These are small negatives, considering the Pros listed above. They have put the money into the drivetrain and handling.

Fun, Dependable Commuter For Wintry Climates. — Great commuter car. Buy a entry level sedan or hatchback and put in a new stereo and speakers if you like music. The value of this car cannot be matched. Sales and service staff at my local dealership have always been helpful and friendly.

Pros

Absolutely wonderful vehicle for Colorado.  The way it handles in the snow is amazing.  I've never had to take it for maintenance and I have the maintenance history to prove it!

Cons

With the new additions to the family, I need more room, and a little more power!

All Around Perfect For Weather And Cargo. — I liked how comfortable I was taking this car off road to either go fishing or up in the mountains to go skiing. I loved the fact that I never once had any mechanical problems with it for the 25K miles I have driven it.

Perfect Daily Driver For People Who Like Fast Cars — Great all around car. Also very upgradeable for those who love performance. Stock out of the box it is fast enough to get you in trouble, yet civilized enough to drive daily and not be targeted by the cops. Highly recommended for those who need a performance oriented daily driver. Plus, the AWD is GREAT and the boxer style 4 sounds awesome.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

My Subaru Wrx 5 Door 2008 — Performance: Awesome acceleration with the turbo, the handling is precise and the AWD makes it perfect for any conditions Build Quality: That's the main drawback about this car. There are a lot of squeaks and the quality material is very cheap (if you compare to a VW golf 2011 for example...). The clutch pedal squeaks. I even had to repair a button, that disappeared in the dashboard when i pushed it... But everything is reliable, no bad words there. Appearance: Everyone likes it. Especially in red (very rare). I like the look of the hatchback, without the look of a Yaris. I have to say the gas mileage is not very great. That's because of the turbo and the AWD system... there's a price for having fun! I like this car a lot, for it's acceleration, it's AWD system and great sound!

A Spectacular Choice For A First "grown Up" Car. Neither A Beater, Or A Fancy Statement, — The vehicle is peppy and fun to drive, is extremely dependable, is the safest thing I have ever driven in bad conditions, and has cost me very little to maintain. It makes me happy every time I get inside, and it looks up-scale enough to generate many complements when people ride in it.

Fastastic Car For Its Price Range — Fastastic Car Handles like a charm, fun to drive performs well, the acceleration is great not as fun as a WRX but still great looks good not as aggressive look like as the WRX or STI, im not a huge fan on the two tone paint the gas milage is not bad on average i get 27mpg and 125 when i push it, and 30mpg when im easy on it. great car to drive even more fun in a grass field or a parking lot full of snow

Pretty Sweet Lil' Ride Peeps!!! — Not the blistering speed of an STI...but how fun is the all wheel drive!!! Oh...and bout 30 to the gallon is a plus also. Hoping in the next several months to upgrade suspension and brake packages. Worth a try on some local rally tracks if I can talk the wifie into it at that point.
