Moving up to the more luxurious 2008 Nissan Quest SL gets you a lot more safety features and extra interior conveniences in this stylish seven-seater front-wheel-drive minivan. New additions for 2008 include a standard rearview camera, automatic headlights, and dual-zone climate control. Powered by the same 3.5-liter, 235-hp DOHC V6 and 5-speed automatic as the other trims, the 2008 Quest SL also adds backup sensors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror to what you get on the S. Other safety features include 16-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires and a tire monitor, traction control, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, and dual front-side and side curtain airbags for all three rows of seats.
Also standard on the 2008 Quest SL are dual power sliding doors for access to the rear rows and a power liftgate. Second-row captain's chairs recline and can be removed. They don't fold completely flat, but the third row does, with new automatic folding headrests. Cargo capacity starts at 32 cubic feet and expands to 146 cubic feet with all seats down, and a roof rack is included. A tow package adds the ability to tow up to 3,500 pounds. Full power features include remote entry, and the SL adds an 8-way power driver's seat. Standard on the 2008 Quest SL is a garage opener, joining a trip computer, intermittent front wipers and a rear wiper, wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls for the 6-CD/MP3 player, heated mirrors, leather trim for the wheel and shifter, and three rows of cupholders and power outlets as standard equipment.
Options add a DVD player with wireless headsets, rear audio controls, Bluetooth, a navigation system, a 4-way power passenger seat, a cargo cover, and running boards. Moving up to the SL gives you more extras, including a sunroof and SkyView skylights with wind deflector, and leather upholstery.
