2008 Nissan Quest SE Trim Overview

There are few changes to the 2008 Nissan Quest SE, the top-end offering for this front-wheel-drive minivan. It gets side impact airbags for all three rows and automatic folding headrests in the third row.
Like the other trims, it comes standard only with front seats, but second-row folding captain's chairs and a fold-flat third-row bench can be added. There are cupholders for all rows and dual power sliding doors and a power liftgate for various access points. Tie-downs are standard in the 32 cubic foot cargo area, which expands to 146 with all seats down. A roof rack is also standard, along with a tow package and cargo cover.

Under the hood is a 235-hp, 3.5-liter DOHC V6 and 5-speed automatic that delivers 18/25 mpg. The 2008 Quest SE adds foglights and stability control to the already standard 4-wheel ABS brakes, traction control, dual front-side airbags, automatic headlights, auto-dimming rearview mirror, backup sensors, rearview camera, and tire monitor for the larger 17-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires. Other upgrades include a standard SkyView sunroof with two rear skylight panels, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a 4-way power passenger seat and 8-way power driver's seat, memory settings for the driver and all mirrors, power heated mirrors that reverse-fold for a better view when backing up, Bluetooth, satellite radio, a 10-speaker Bose sound system for the 6-CD player with MP3 jack, and a charcoal air filter.

These join already existing features like power windows and locks, wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, a trip computer, remote garage opener, security system, and intermittent front wipers and a rear window wiper. A good question would be, are there any options left? Only a few, including a navigation system, DVD player with wireless headsets, rear audio controls, and cargo accessories such as an organizer and cover. Splash guards and cross bars for the roof rack are also available.
