Great Overall Suv! — We enjoyed this car as long as we had two children. When we found out a third was on the way, we decided it was time to move up to something with a full third row seat. Other than that, we loved this car.

Cons

Nissan — Very reliable and comfortable. Drives great, nice town and hwy car. Sounds system rocks. Tough rugged yet luxurious and quiet. Back up camera with large display screen, I love this feature especially with kids and pets around! The gas mileage isn't very good, even on the hwy it's hard to hit 20mpg plus a small fuel tank... Bad combo.

Nissan Pathfinder 2008 Se — Great acceleration, braking and handling. Excellent built quality. Appears to be tough, designed for the job. Own this car for 2 years and have no single issue with it. Car is very comfortable and fun to drive. Needs better interior.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

A Nice 4x4 — The car is really nice I decided to chip up and buy the most expensive LE model and yeah. It cost about $45,000 for the LE package. Yeah it's a fun car to off roading in, But yeah this is a nice Pathfinder It's a nice upgrade from what I had.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Hands Down, Better Than Toyota Products! — Bought this car brand new & drove it for a year - absolutely loved it, but just not enough room in the back rows. We considered a Toyota 4Runner, but the Nissan Pathfinder won hands down in price, options included and the fact that the seats lay completely flat for more storage, while the 4runner doesn't. If our kids were younger or we didn't have kids, this is the ideal vehicle! Got pretty good gas mileage for a mid-size SUV. We traded this pathfinder for our armada at a local Ford dealership. The dealership had the pathfinder on the lot for less than two weeks and we just happened to be picking up some paperwork for our armada as our pathfinder was being sold. We talked to the guy buying it & told him what a great deal and car he was getting.

Cons

Multi Purpose Off-roader — Great truck solid engine and frame. Drives like a car but handles everything that can be thrown at it. It has an attractive appearance. It cost very little to maintain bc it doesn't need a tune till 105,000 miles and uses a chain instead of a belt so that never gets done.

Great Truck Handles Everything You Can Throw At It. — Powerful engine that will not quit. Hold my 235 lb dog with no problems. Drives like a luxury car but hauls like a truck.

Transmission At Low Speed In, Out, Of Overdrive — Vehicle will shift smooth when new, and on test drive, but module self adjusts itself to traffic pattern. If you drive in city traffic 35 to 45 mph you will develop the problem of rough overdrive automatic shifting, and will end up manually shifting to eliminate rough in and out shift of overdrive. Its a very annoying feature "with no cure according to tech. at Nissan" thats a quote. Other than that no faults have been found

A Good Family Car With Massive Cargo Area — Likes-Handling and speed, excellent cargo area, 3rd row seating, instrumentation, Dislike-Feul economy, An excellent family car with 3rd row seating, an all round good but very poor fuel economy asa result of the massive 5.6 liter V8 engine. With this engine size you get a remarkable low 0-60 mph for those who care to appreciate the enormous power locked inside. And the price to pay for that is gas
