New for 2008, the Altima Coupe 3.5 SE is a fast, sporty addition to the Nissan lineup, thanks to contemporary styling, a sport-tuned suspension, and a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 270 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a smooth CVT (continuously variable transmission) with manual shift control is available as an option.
Standard features for the two-door Altima Coupe 3.5 SE include anti-lock brakes, dual exhaust outlets, traction control, and vehicle-speed-sensitive power steering, which provides more power assistance at lower speeds for easier parking.
The 3.5 SE is the better equipped of the two 2008 Coupe models, and includes such features as fog lights, a power sliding glass moon roof, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals.
Interior features include easy-to-read Fine Vision gauges and LCD readouts, air conditioning with an in-cabin microfilter, aluminum trim or optional wood-tone accents, and sport bucket seats with additional bolstering for support in hard corners.
Other features include an Intelligent Key system with push-button ignition, a six-speaker AM/FM stereo system with a CD player and MP3 input, six standard airbags, and a vehicle security system. A multifunction Navigation system with a RearView Monitor, XM NavTraffic, split-screen detail, phone call information, and satellite radio with extensive music information is also available.
