2008 Mercury Grand Marquis Review Ratings
2008 Mercury Grand Marquis GS Review
Traditional rear wheel drive. Very smooth, comfy ride. All controls easy to reach from driver's seat and easy to use. Very solid build. Plenty of power for merging into freeway traffic. Cruises along at freeway speeds (70+ MPH) effortlessly. An overall great car!
Has the "Ford Squeak" in the front end bushings. Climate control loud on high blower speed. Especially on "Max A/C". Radio tuner should be a dial. Tuner buttons are distracting. They don't make them any more.
Perfect Family Car — I bought this car on May 21, 2012 to replace my aging 1993 Chevy Caprice, which I bought new. The "Mighty Mercury" as I affectionately call it is a wonderful car. Everything that the Caprice was in it's day. Comfortable, powerful, stylish, and elegant. Couldn't ask for a better car! Only had two minor issues since I bought it. I had to replace the driver's master power window switch and the left brake light bulb. Very pleased with the body integrity as well. Doors, hood and trunk all close with a vault like "clunk". No tinny sounds here. Overall just a great car!

Best Luxury Ride For The Money! — This smooth-riding, dependable sedan is the best luxury ride for the money. According to the driving computer, we're getting 26 MPG, not bad for a V-8. The 4.6 L engine is a proven workhorse, too. I like that it's rear-wheel drive because of its size and weight. Very nice driving car!

It Looks Good And Drives Great.
I purchased a Mercury GM in 1996 and drove it for 234,000 miles without a major problem. Hope to do the same with the new 2010 I purchased. Read More
I Love It!
This car rides like a dream; handles amazingly well, and gets far better mileage than my late-model Mustang does. (On a recent 175-mile road trip, I got an amazing 27.63 actual MPG!). A big plus is th... Read More

Keep Your Grand Marquis...they May Be One Of The Last "big" Cars!
Overall, I like it. Not particularly fond of new style flasher panel or the airflow control board to direct air to desired vents. Have replaced 2 flashers ($$$$) and need the airflow control board ... Read More
