CarGurus Overview
At the upper end of the 2008 Hyundai Veracruz lineup, the Limited offers an unbelievable number of standard features in a crossover SUV at a somewhat affordable price compared to the competition. Under the hood is a 3.8-liter, 260-hp DOHC V6 with variable valve timing and a 6-speed shiftable automatic. The Limited adds every option available on other trims. These include a power sunroof, power liftgate, leather upholstery, and power front seats (8-way driver, 4-way passenger), with memory settings for the seat, mirrors, and steering wheel position. On the safety side, you get rain-sensing wipers and backup sensors, in addition to ABS brakes, traction and stability control, dual front and side curtain airbags for all rows, a tire-pressure monitor, mirrors with turn signals, foglights, automatic headlights, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The 2008 Veracruz Limited seats seven, with both the second and third rows folding flat. The second row slides forward for rear access, and the cargo area expands to 87 cubic feet. A cover and tie-downs are standard, and a shelf can be added. A standard roof rack and optional tow hitch add more storage and hauling flexibility. Equipped with full power features, remote entry, cruise control, a CD/MP3 player and satellite radio with eight speakers, wheel-mounted and backseat audio controls, dual-zone climate control, a trip computer, and intermittent front and rear wipers, the Limited makes driving easy and comfortable. A center console hides a beverage cooler, and there are power outlets in the front and second rows as well as the cargo area. A first aid kit is optional, along with an Infinity surround sound system and DVD player with remote control.
