2008 Hummer H3 H3X Trim Overview

The 2008 Hummer H3X adds a lot more luxury features to the more manageable four-wheel drive SUV.  It shares the same 242-hp, 3.5-liter DOHC I5 that puts out 242 lb-ft of torque, and comes with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, but adds larger 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires.  The full-time 4WD also features low-range gearing with four settings, a locking center differential, and is joined with skid plates, 4-wheel ABS brakes, traction and stability control, and dual front airbags for safety and confident handling.  Automatic headlights, dusk-sensing headlights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, tire monitor, and foglights are also standard.  The 2008 H3X is not rated for crash test safety.

Inside, the 2006 H3X adds heated leather seats with 8-way power adjustments up front.  Also included are a 6-CD changer and 7-speaker sound system, satellite radio, and leather trim.  This is in addition to full power features, intermittent front and rear wipers, cruise control, a compass and temperature display, OnStar, remote entry, power outlets and cupholders, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats.  The cargo area expands to 56 cubic feet and features tie-downs and a light.  A roof rack is also standard.  A new option this year is a rearview camera, joining such available features as a sunroof, navigation system, and a trailer hitch for towing up to 4500 pounds.
