A step up from the Base trim, the 2008 Hummer H2 Adventure adds such features as a self-leveling rear air suspension system, an on-board air compressor, a brush grille guard, and a first aid/tool kit to the big SUV's list of standard equipment. In addition, a new 393-horsepower, 6.2-liter Vortec V8 engine powers the 2008 H2 Adventure. The engine links to a six-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.

In addition to the new engine, a number of interior enhancements have been added to upgrade the H2 Adventure's "rugged luxury" status. Those new features include a six-gauge instrument panel, head side-curtain airbags, and a Panic Brake assist system, while new options include a DVD entertainment system and full third-row seating.

The H2 Luxury also includes the Chrome appearance package, which spiffs up the H2's exterior with chrome hood handles, chrome hood latches, and bright door sill plates. Also included with the H2 Luxury are 17-inch polished aluminum wheels.
