2008 Honda Pilot EX Trim Overview

A carryover from the previous year and nearing the end of its current design cycle, the 2008 Honda Pilot EX might look a bit dated to drivers, especially when compared to some of the newer SUVs and crossover vehicles in showrooms today. But its functional design provides plenty of interior space for large and busy families, with enough room to comfortably eight passengers.

What's more, the Pilot EX offers an upgraded list of standard features, which includes an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a synchronized automatic climate control system, fog lights, and a second-row fold-down activity tray.

Other standard features include front bucket seats, power windows and door locks, a roof rack, rear privacy glass, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, a remote entry system, and a seven-speaker AM/FM stereo system with XM satellite radio and a six-disc CD changer.

A traction control system, Brake Assist, and antilock brakes aid drivers in emergency situations, while a 244-horsepower, 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine provides plenty of power for just about any driving situation. The engine links to a five-speed automatic transmission designed for fuel efficiency and smooth shifting.
