CarGurus Overview
Essentially a carryover model from the previous year, the 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L offers drivers an upgraded luxury package that includes such features as leather-trimmed seats that are heated in the front, special door panel inserts, and a power moonroof with a tilt feature.
Other standard features for the 2008 Pilot EX-L include an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a synchronized automatic climate control system, power windows and door locks, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, a remote entry system, and a seven-speaker AM/FM stereo system with XM satellite radio and a six-disc CD changer.
Safety features include traction control, Brake Assist, and antilock brakes, while a 244-horsepower, 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine provides plenty of power. The engine links to a five-speed automatic transmission designed for fuel efficiency and smooth shifting.
The 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L might look a bit dated to some drivers, especially when compared to some of the newer SUVs and crossover vehicles in showrooms today. But its functional design comfortably seats eight and provides plenty of interior space for large and busy families, as well as adventuring drivers on the go.
This overview covers the EX-L trim only.
