Civic Coupe — Performance- By no means is this a fast car, nor is it slow, but it is really fun to drive. It handles and brakes very well. Also, during heavy acceleration, VTEC kicks in, making the engine rev high and providing a little extra boost. Quality- Very good quality all around, especially the stereo. Appearance- I think it looks great, and there are many additional aftermarket parts available for customizing. Cost of Ownership- $30 to fill up, 30 mpg city. Need I say more? All in all, a great, quality car that is fun to drive.

Pros

Great car, sun roof, 2 remote keys & valet, beautiful sleek look, love the dash board very cool and easy to see my mph & everything is digital.  The seats slide back easy and cup holders in the back seats by the arm rest. Great gas Milage =]

Cons

I didn't switch to this car sooner.

Badass Car @ Great Value — I loved the color and design, the sunroof . Everything else was a perk! I got to meet the last owner because she worked at the dealership. Felt like for once I walked off a dealership and felt like I did actually get a great deal on a very good car. Making the payments on any car is much easier when you are enthusiastic about what you drive. I looked for several months to find a good deal and I am more than satisfied that I waited for this specific car, color & options! I spend so much of my time in driving everywhere so the purchase was a very big deal.

Decent — This car gets great gas mileage, and has a decent fun factor as any stick would have. Overall appearance is sporty and looks good. Quality is questionable, sun visor failed and had to be removed. Harmonics are poor, and sounds like a tin can when you shut the doors or go through the car wash!!

Pros

It's a nice dependable car and it's fun to drive.

Cons

nothing sucks

I Love My Car! — Well I love Honda's. I love my car because it's cute, sporty and a very dependable car. It's a five speed and not a automatic which is what I like, I like driving five speed's because to me they seem more fun. The inside of my car is really cute, I love how the dash looks. The outside of my car looks sporty but still has a backseat.

Pros

8000 rpm redline 8250 limiter :)

Cons

needs more power

Torque... — It needs more low end torque to get off the line and so it doesnt bog down in corners but it sounds great especially when v-tec is screaming. Brakes and handling are way better than expected from a front wheel drive car.

Pros

gorgeous, small, large trunk space, large back set when needing to carry more than two people.

Cons

doors rattle sometimes

Idk — This car is amazing! The stearing is comfortable and stable and it is built nicely. The doors sometimes rattle but being a two door car that is bound to happen but only when opening or closing the door not while driving. It has amazing gas mileage. While gas was 3.75 it only cost about 38 to fill the tank. I would definately recomend this car to a friend... in fact one of my close friends got the same car in a different color. It is a great car that will last you a long time.

2008 Civic — The 2008 Civic Coupe gets great gas mileage. I get 32 with AC on even when I get into V-TEC. The R18 is a strong motor and can hold its own with any otn her 4 cylinder I have driven. IMO, its one of the best and beats the hell out of an Ecotec. For those that don't know, the ecotec is a GM product and used in the cobalt, g5, g6, astra, aura, etc. The Civic is easy to drive and feels bigger than it really is. The digital speedometer is a wonderful thing to have, and as it is on the top tier of the two tier instrument panel, you don't have to look down to see your speed like in a traditional setup. The stereo in the EX is great. It has the subwoofer and it really sounds great. IMO, the backseat has the same amount of room as the sedan does and I can actually ride with two people in the back comfortably, unlike in my 240 where it is 3 people max. The only downfall is the road noise when I am on the concrete intersate. But it is mostly the roads fault for the noise. On the new pavement on 165, it rides great. The car also has tilt steering and telescopic steering so it is very easy to find a comfortable position to drive. Also, there is a lever that controls the height of the seat, so if you are really short you can pump it up and sit higher. Overall, the civic is a great car that you can seat 4 people comfortably and get great fuel mileage in for a good price.

My Personal Review Of The 2008 Honda Civic — Well i change cars every 3 months because of my job... being a car salesman gives you the oppertunity to drive pretty much whatever you want... but ive always been a big fan of the civic even though i could drive something more expensive i always go back to the civic... its affordable, sporty, spacious and its got alot of kick to it! Money wise its the best value out there!!! Performance- 140hp 1.8lt Vtech engine, front disc brakes and rear drums for the LX version (all disc brakes for all versions higher) sport tuned suspension and handling. Build Quality- just check out Honda's history and in this case history repeats itself... its a very solid and reliable like all Honda's are... Appearance- very sporty and looks like a car that is more expensive then it really is. Cost of Ownership- rated at 52mpg if you keep the car under 110km/h and you can buy a 2008 Honda civic dx base starting at $17,190 + freight and PDI and applicable taxes... Fun Factor- Buckle up and enjoy the ride!!! i sure do!!!

Pros

Engine makes sounds and revs to 8200 like it was made by some god himself, Corners well, smooth ride, great standard interior features and build quality.

Cons

Not as fast as other cars its price, anemic at times, not the best looking in my opinion, though it turns lots of heads, which I don't want either, Makes horrible sheetmetal sound when you close the doors, steering is overboosted (electric assist ftl), a little pricey.

I Love My Car — Makes beautiful sounds, handles like its on rails, fastashell steering ratio, great interior, practical. I couldn't ask any more of it.
