James' 2008 Honda Accord Coupe Ex-l V6 — This has been one of the best Hondas I have ever owned. Gas Mileage is greatat about 30+ MPG and as fast as I drive most of the time...THAT'S AWSOME! Most people think it is a BMW even with the huge Honda emblem on the front and back of the car. I paid for EVERY option I could get and because I was one of the first to buy I had to pay more then most at around 35 thousand then I added 3 thousand worth of wheels and tires.

Fun To Drive, Confidence Inspiring Handling With Economical Operating Costs. — This car handles like a much smaller car, brakes are top notch. The build quality is second to none I have had no problems, squeeks or rattles. The design of this car is a major improvment exterior styling is much more agressive but the interior is welll done it gives you the feel of a cockpit. Yhe fuel milage has been very good consistantly arround 40 mpg but the maintenance minder system for service definatly saves money on the service schedule. This car does carry a fun factor for driving and people seem to be attracted to the styling, both of these together make this car a joy to drive. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

2008 Honda Accord Coupe Ex-l V6 — Acceleration is more than adequate at 268 HP, with other sports coupes often beckoning for a race (Infiniti G35, Grand Prix GTPs). Braking is smooth, with no touchiness, but a little longer stopping distance than most. Handling is OK, but would be better with the thicker stabilizer bar of the 6-speed version. Build quality was great, with a minor rattle in the headliner fixed by the dealer. The appearance turns heads, especially in Belize Blue. The rear badges were all removed for a cleaner look. The interior is functional, and I do like lots of buttons, which is what most people complain about. Gas mileage is around 27-30 MPG for my normal drive of 200 miles per day. The cylinder deactivation helps bring this up by running on 3-4 cylinders during most of my drive. The car is fun to zip around traffic, and it is nice to have a car that few others have. | ||

My New Car, Since Jan 08 — Had this car for less than a year, got it to save on gas but retain some styling, so far so good but some surprises as well, good and bad... what's unique about this car is the technology in this car, GPS, Bluetooth, Maintenance Minder, VSA.... the list goes on. will need to review more once I get more mileage onto this, now approaching 20,000km! | ||

You Don't See Too Many — There are some on the road but they all seem to be 4 cylinders. It's nice to have a car that you don't see three times a day on the road. The design and styling of the exterior is the best Honda has produced, beating out even the newest generation. Throw on the Honda Performance Sport suspension and some light legal tint, and you have yourself one of the slickest rides around for under 30k. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Sporty And Fast, Saves Gas Too, Honda Did A Great Job On This Model — 2008 HONDA ACCORD EX-L V6 COUPE, 3.5 liter iv-tec V6, 268 hp, dual exhaust with chrome tips, taffeta white exterior, tan leather and black carpet interior. ICE COLD A/C helps beat the southern heat, and for the winter, hot heater with dual heated front seats. AM/FM/XM satellite radio, 6 disc CD changer in-dash, 7 speaker sound system, auxiliary port to plug in MP3 music device, Very clean all around great Honda. Looks and runs great. All four wheels have minor abrasions from the previous owner but do not affect drive ability. The trunk is plenty big for multiple sets of golf clubs, or groceries. Garaged since September (when I bought it). I am the second owner of this car. It has excellent power and acceleration without the sacrifice of fuel economy. I consistently return around 23 mpg of mostly suburb driving. It has a variable cylinder management system which runs the motor on 3, 4 or 6 cylinders depending on the load. It lets the driver know it is shutting off cylinders (saving you gas) with a green "ECO" light that comes on in the gauge cluster. It also has a maintenance minder system which indicates when it is time for a routine service. All carpets and leather seats have been cared for. I have detailed records and receipts for all services and fuel fill-ups since I purchased the car last September, so I have documented proof of fuel economy. I have been very happy with this car, but I need the money for graduate school so I am hoping to sell. Call me, drive it, make an offer! Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Its Nice And Quiet. — Very good on gas. The backseat is very roomy. I like having the leather interior and.. the dual exhauset. I wish the sunroof could go up a little higher though.. The braking is good, no squeaks. The only thing is when its raining, when the water hits underneath the fender walls, it sounds like you just scraped the cement. Freaks you out... at least me out. Love My Car — That is doesn't come with HID's!!! And that the head lights aout is very sensitive to light. The power auto winds some times go up then in the middle of it going up it will stop and go all the way down. Honda sayd they dont know why its doing it, there will prob be a recall soon. | ||

ProsThis is a great compromise car. Ours has the 6 speed manual and plenty of scoot. It has tinted windows and looks pretty classy. We get a lot of compliments on what a good looking car it is. For a couple this size the back seat is reasonably comfortable. Build quality is pretty good and there have been no maintenance or repair issues. Local dealer is good and cost of scheduled preventative maintenance has been low. Grandkids call it the James Bond Honda. ConsTorque steer can be a nuisance. Ingress and egress to the back seat can be a hassle for adults but grandkids are primary back seat passengers and they love the car.

Great Compromise Car. — Love this car. Handles well for a front drive. Accceleration is zippy and you can feel VVT kick in. Very good looking car with the tinted windows and moderate amount of bright work. We get lots of compliments on its good looks and performance. Mercedes must have liked it too because their new E350 couple looks just like. | ||
