Great Family Car And Very Roomy! — I like that is is very roomy. It has both front and back seats that recline. Trunk room is very nice. The car is in great shape. This Ford Edge is one car I would most definitely recommend to a friend.

Pros

Very good-looking sporty SUV. Got me through 18" of snow this winter!

Cons

I'm a single mom and right now there are a few things that are needing to be addressed....!

I Love This Suv... All Four Seasons Worth! — This is a great vehicle. Rain, snow or sunshine, I get the best of all seasons sitting in my Edge Limited... with AWD for the snow, Vistaroof for the sunshine and rain! Kids love borrowing it because they look cool in it too! It cut right through the 18" snowfall we got several times last winter.

It Is The Best Car I've Ever Driven. — Good acceleration. Brakes are good. Tight turns must be taken slowly, but that's to be expected. No problems with anything yet, although, Microsoft Sync has been a little buggy. It's still a fun car to drive. About 16 miles per gallon city, not bad for a crossover.

Give It A 4/5 — Performance - nice build quality - above avg appearance - leading edge apprearance - well appointnted in and out cost of ownership - a little on the high side fun factor - not meant for baja driving. but will surprise you if you want a little pep boost

Very Good Family Vehicle. — This has been a very nice vehicle for our family. We bought this with 14K, but have not had any major issues. It has a bigger vehicle feel. Not all that impressed with the overall milage, (23 highway) but average milage is fine. (19 mpg)

Pros

Even for a crossover it felt like it had a lot of room.  Seemed to be very dependable.  did pretty good on gas

Cons

the only thing that was bad was the sunroof motor broke and the seals seemed to need adjusted pretty frequently

One Of The Best Crossovers I Have Owned — I would buy another one of these when ever I get back on my feet. My wife loved it and it started to grow on me too. Fortunately we never had to drive it in bad weather like ice or snow but seemed to do real good in the rain so don't know about slick conditions. The only thing I would want is it to have awd just in case.

Great family car

Cons

gas, no 3rd row

2008 Edge — This is my second Edge -- I liked my first one so much. I have the AWD, & do all my driving in the city, so gas mileage is mediocre. Also, SYNC doesn't work for me. Otherwise, I love the quality, ride, looks & fun. Probably will need the 3rd row seat, so that is the reason I'll trade it in.

Love This Cuv! — We have three children ranging in age from 12 to 7, and we absolutely love this car! There is enough room for all five of us to go on a road trip comfortably. Mine is a light blue color and I get so many compliments on it. I wish it was a little bit better on gas, with the prices almost reaching $4 a gallon right now, but the handling and performance of this automobile more than makes up for it. I think it accelerates well and I definitely feel safe when I am driving it. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable family car.

Pros

Great size, cargo capacity and handles well in all weather conditions due to the AWD.  It tows a double axel sized trailer with little or no effort.  It is a sturdy and reliable vehicle.

Cons

The blind spot problem was minimal, but I added aftermarket convex mirrors to the side view mirrors which greatly improved the ability to pass and safely change lanes without fear of cutting off another car.

Reliable Transportation With Good Cargo Capacity And Performance. — I initially and still do like the styling and ride height of the vehicle especially with the 20 inch wheels. It has the ability to safely accelerate to highway speeds for merges and passing on two lane roadways. The breaking is good and it required very little other than the usual oil changes and maintenance. I loved the Vista roof and the sun shade which operates with no effort to keep the car cool on those hot summer days. It is easy to enter and exit the vehicle due to the height without being so high that it needs some sort of running board or step device to get in. I purchased the car brand new and it currently has 102,000 Kms on it.
