Fairly Priced, Good Quality — I was worried to go away from the Toyota/Honda/Nissan route for a van. However, I could not be happier with this van. The finishes are nice, maintenance is low and what maintenance there is, it's inexpensive. I would recommend a 2008 or newer Grand Caravan to any family looking for some more room.

Pros

Space and amenities.

Cons

The 4.0L V6 has far more power, but the 3.8L engine is adequate. Don't even think about the 3.3L if power is a major selling point.

Pound For Pound King Of Minivans — When comparing the Dodge Grand Caravan to other vans on the market, its easy to overlook...simply because its been around for so long. Chrysler invented the minivan 30 years ago as the first one rolled off the production line in November 1983, and has been on a roll ever since. The van is solidly built with a good powertrain (even though it had some down years in the mid 90s), but its the amenities and the overall value that set this van apart from its foreign born competitors.

Pros

There are too many things to list.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind

More Than Pleased! — Great van, great features and a comfortable ride. Purchased just over 6 months ago and we have loved it! The full stow n go is brilliant and we have taken advantage of that feature numerous times. The middle windows that open is also a bonus!!!

Pros

Not a lot, everything is "nice."

Cons

Gas mileage around town

25

Dodge Caravan 2008 Review — All round, good value. Not a "forever" type of vehicle, but nice for now. Disposable comes to mind. Great mileage on the highway, not so great around town. Easy driving. Dealers stand behind problems. Inexpensive family transportation, lots of room all round, even in the back for 6' people.

Boxy — Still trying to get used it, The power siding door is too sensitive when closing. Gas milage is ok, but the tank is to small. Comfortable and I like being higher up.

Pros

Probably the most versatile car I've ever owned! Nothing you can't do with Mikey the Minivan!

Cons

Not the most stylish vehicle that will ever pass you on the road to another skate meet!!!!

Mikey The Mini-van — This is the car you need when you have a speed-skating kid who needs to travel all over the country to take part in speed meets, and you also have two crazy beagles. This car is so versatile - there is nothing you can't do with it! So you have five or six friends and you want to go out in the evening? No problem - this car has three rows of seats. Trip to the vets with the dog? No problem - fold down one of the seats and put the dog box in! Want to carry wood to the dump after a DIY project? Cool - just take out the middle row of seats! Got to go 300 miles to a skate meet? Not a worry in the world - just turn the back seats around to face backwards, put in the table (yes, you even get a table!) and away you go! I love this car so much I even gave him a name - Mikey the Minivan! Mikey is my mate - we've been through a lot together!
