Pros

Quick response (either from a dead stop, OR while on the highway), tight steering, STABLE SUSPENSION - D E P E D A B L E !!!!!  .. starts no matter what the weather. Head Room - I'm 6' tall with no problem getting in/out. HATE my wife's car for that very reason. Cargo room is great - 57 cubic feet behind the seats, you won't find anything with this gas mileage that has that kind of space.

Cons

Noticed the ride is not as smooth when no weight/hauling supplies in the back, which is normal for any vehicle of this type. 2 seater - not a family sedan, but it will haul your kids' stuff to college and back and then some!.

One Of The Best — Over the years I have owned and drivin full sized trucks, suv's, and cars, including classic -powerful muscle automobiles. If it's domestic, I've probably driven / owned it. The HHR Panel model is hands down one of the best cars I've ever owned. I travel for work (need to haul supplies everyday), where SAFTEY, dependibility, storage, and great gas mileage are a MUST. This wagon has far exceeded my expectations. Not only does it deliver everything I ask, IT IS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE! With more than enough get up and go, for the highway, or aggressive traffic situations. 2 lane highways @ 55 mph she gets 34 avg mpg. With interstate driving at 70 mph is around 29. That is impressive with a load of about 800 lbs. (Maximum load limit is 900 lbs). When I say STABLE SUSPENSION this is why...** Rear suspension has independent torque arms (Not coil springs that sag over time) - the bonus here is you can load the back any way you want, and needent worry about having the weight evenly distributed, because the torque arms automatically compensate! These are solid - well built cars. It will be a very sad day indeed, when I'm forced to buy something different. THE HHR PANEL IS A PERFECT FIT ! I liked it so much I bought another one!

Pros

Fun to drive, plenty of pep, handles well, all the gadgets one could want.

Cons

Not the biggest interior but still very roomy for how small it is.  Maybe
wish there was an AWD version but I don't really need it.

Fun, Utilitarian, Comfy, Economical — What a fun, great looking ride! 30+MPG, leather heated seats, moonroof, traction control, stabillitrack, ABS, AC, 260 watt Pioneer stereo with sub, iPod integration, PW, PDL, Remote Start, Cruise. The steering wheel is amongst the best I've ever personally owned, leather wrapped with controls for Cruise and stereo on the wheel. Handling is excellent, car is easy to drive with magnetic variable assist steering. Breaking is good with 4-wheel ABS, 2.4L engine returns over 30MPG on the freeway and a minimum of 22MPG in town. The stereo in the LT2 package is amongst the best I've ever heard in a factory configuration.

Pros

I like everything about this car.  With the front wheel drive it handles the road excellent in rain and snow.  Any problems that occur are easy to fix and inexpensive.  It is spacious and roomy inside with leg room both in the front seat and the back seat.  The cargo area is large and when the rear seats are down the cargo area becomes huge.    I can't fault this car at all!

Cons

I have yet to find anything negative about this car after driving it for 3 years.

It Is A Great Compact Car With Tons Of Room, Reliable, Great Gas Milage — I like this car so much I have now bought my second one and will probably buy a 3rd one. Its comfortable, roomy, economical to drive, good manuverability, tires last forever, battery is in the "trunk" area and lends to a longevity to the battery with it away from the engine heat. Tires last forever and with the front wheel drive its hard to get this little car stuck. Tinted windows keep the car cooler, but still give you tons of visability. Repairs are minimal and cost is reasonable. Car is quick to get onto the freeway and settles into cruise control at a highway speed with no problems. The ride is much better than many of the other smaller compact cars. Everyone I know that has a PT Cruiser all say they wish they had bought a HHR instead!

Hhr — good car if your not a tall preson, the driver seating is tight for a person 6ft or taller, the driver information center is realy nice and can be customized for your personal tast. I like the feature that you can turn off the horn when locking the car.

Great Mpg — Great to drive in city and on highway. Seats are comfortable and easy to adjust, great acceleration for 4 cyl engine. Does well on hazardous road conditions. Good braking capability and drives smoothly. No issues whatsoever with maintenance or repairs.

Pros

Cool, Retro, Economical, Clean Body Style, Great Options, Great Warranty, and Very Cool

Cons

Some Parts and Accessories are a bit Pricy

Hhr Panel — I was searching for a Panel because it is just me and my dog Bruce and we don't need 4 seats, and I would like somthing that can carry a little cargo and be able to lock it up or keep it out of the weather if needed unlike a truck. I was contemplating either a Scion Xb or a PT Cruiser but neither had a panel. Then I saw an HHR Panel on the freeway...cool! I was not that impressed with the window model but the panel just looks clean (and retro)...very cool. Oh did I mention 30mpg! (added bonus)

Reliable Car — i think its a great car runs and rives great love having the 5 speed in it lol the car seems pretty solid and is surprisingly light for such a big vehicle ways just over 2100 pounds so its stays pretty quick and gets me good gas mileage too
