A manually folding convertible roof turns this Corvette into an open-air road monster. The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible features a new 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Together, they deliver 430 hp and 424 ft-lbs of torque, with 0-60 times around 4 seconds. Intermittent wipers, dual-zone climate control, hands-free phone controls, a temperature display and compass, two front power outlets, and a security system complete the standard package. A cargo net sits in the 11-cubic-foot trunk. Options add heated seats, a power convertible top, front seat memory settings, a garage opener, navigation system, heads-up display, and telescopic steering.
