Pros

powerful engine for its size

Cons

fuel-hungry, possible reliability issues

Cobalt — Not the best of cars, there are many better than it in its class. For its size, it guzzles gas. The particular car had 8k of mileage on it and it already had squeaky suspension. Luckily, it was just a rental.

gas mileage and cost

Cons

cheap plastic interior

Love It — For the price, the Cobalt is definately work it, gas mileage is great and i've only had the car in the shop once. The one thing I had to get fixed is third and fourth gear, it liked to grind. The acceleration isn't the quickest, unless you want it to be, it handles wonderfully. I love my car, I love to drive it and and it's a great cruising car.

Not performance car

I Really Like Driving It But Like I Said I Just Wish It Had More Horsepower And Speed. — I love the car it has treated me very well so far but i just wish it had more horse power would be nice so if you are going to get a car like this you should get the SS which has alot more horses and still gets great Gas milege GO AMERICAN.

Milage

Cons

horsepower

I Love It — I love how smooth the ride is, but the horse power is really lacking. The gas milage is awesome. It cost 10,000 to buy(got it slightly used). The interior is just big enough for me. Its bigger than a Toyotas.

260hp...enough said

Cons

It's still a cheaply made car

I'd Say Im Happy With The Purchase Of The Car Because I Don't Have Buyers Remorse After 10 Months. — It's quick...but has the build quality of a base cobalt. I wish they made the SS model alittle better. GM has really stepped thier game up with direct injection and adding a turbocharger. With just a tune on the ss/tc they are putting out 290whp and 330wtq!

Pros

Drove decently and MUCH better than a Kia Rondo

Cons

Seats were quite uncomfortable

Chevy Cobalt — The performance wasn't nearly were I would have liked it to be, but what is to be expected from a base model vehicle. The build quality was a little lacking, but for the most part should hold up fine. I believe the higher end models would be very fun to drive since they would make up for the lack of power though I question the seats since the base model seats were so uncomfortable.

My Cobalt — Well, I am used to Cadillac's, but I do love my new car, great gas, sporty, and enough room for me, jenni, and the kids. I plan to pass it down to Silas when he gets his liscence, then to Maddi.

Cobalt — it is a solid car not really any problems the power is there for a 4 cylinder but there is so much more potential with that engine the manual trans is the was to go gas is cheap and its a good daily driver and weekend racer
