You've Made A Volvo Customer Out Of Me.... — I am the second owner of this S40 and I am in love. It's peppy, handles great, and has all sorts of options. Good sound system and it is just a pleasure to drive. You absolutely feel safe and in control of this zippy little sedan. The "W" button improves traction/handling in bad/wet weather. I would not recommend as a family car. Although safe, there is not a lot of available cargo space and the back seats are small. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Zippy, Fun And Safe Car! — Great zippy small car! Love it! Exterior and interior are beautiful! Pretty good milage at 31 MPG highway! Has about 75,000 miles and runs smoothly just like new! Safe and solid car! Low maintenance! Fast acceleration! I would recommend a Volvo! Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

The Good Looking S40 — i don't like the manual short shift gearbox because the is accelerating fast but the top speed is low and what is also bad is that i can't install any sub woofer or i pod connection but i like the shape and design of the car and on the exterior can be modified easily | ||

Volvo S40le My07 — Solid feel on the road, just a bit too much front tyre noise, the MY08 model seems to have fixed that though. Seats are amazing and the leather smell is great. Easy to use dash board and stearing wheel controls are easy to operate. Love the flooting console with the oak trim. Have a very narrow boot though. | ||

None — beatiful style and fancy interior, but lack of storage space in the cabin and boot is just average....electronics sometimes show strage alarms, but till now the main CPU has cleared it all.....probably some bad contact somewhere.....powerful enough, but if the foot is a bit heavier......economy goes down.....if you use official garage it is very very expensive to maintain....however....i do not regret....safety feeling is good side of the car Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

The S40 — Cute, sporty, reliable. It can get of a light in a respectable amount of time and doesn't look too shabby in the parking lot. It's an interim car for me but has been taken to task by the lake effect snowstorms. So far no true white knuckle rides due to the car ... :) |
