It was a good family car.  Met our needs for the time we had it.

Cons

The only con is that one can get a lot of road noise in the cabin

Very Good — Overalll the Matrix was a good car that served us well for the 7 years we owned it. We had no complaints about it except for road noise. It was easy to drive and park. The mileage was decent. It was comfortable to take on trips. We just outgrew it.

The Perfect Fit For Me And My Activities. — My first car! Automatic, speedway blue, with AC looks great and handles even better. Driven it in every form of Canadian weather, from 3 feet of snow to a foot of rain and she's never let me down. Gas is about 510-530km/tank, a mix of city and highway lead foot driving. Good amount of space even more with a rack for a mix of the campin kit, the snowboard gear, and a trippin canoe. Wish i got a stock rack, thou.

Versatility Wins On Performance — Got this car although it was not one of my top choices and I'm glad I got convinced! Best versatility and style in it's class in my opinion. Cheap'esk to drive but offers enough fun even for a Toyota. Although a bit loud inside, the plastic boot makes for an easy clean-up from what ever you had in the back.

Toyota Matrix — great on fuel, very fuel efficient . great visibility especially when backing up. spacious storage compartments. Easy car to park. Poor performance in soft snow. The exterior look is average. So far, no major repairs or high maintenance. Feel safe in the car.
