2007 Suzuki Forenza Overview
Overall User Score
Based on 3 reviews
After making some noteworthy changes in 2006, the Suzuki Forenza compact took it easy in 2007 and only added a tire pressure monitoring system. The Forenza continues to live by two words: value and versatility. To compensate its less-than-intimidating 2.0 L, 127 hp I4 engine, this 4 door, 5 passenger model gives you 6 trims: the Base, Convenience, and Popular Sedans and Wagons. All 6 give you standard 5 speed manual transmission or optional 4 speed automatic.
Expect to get around 22 mpg in the city, 30 on the highway. The Premium Wagon and Sedan come with a sunroof while the Base Wagon and Sedan give you optional ABS brakes. The Sedans have 12.4 cubic feet in the trunk while the Wagons deliver a comfortable 19.3. Finally, expect around 116 cubic feet of passenger room in the Wagons compared to 107.5 for the Sedans.
Overall, Forenza owners appreciate the low price and solid gas mileage. Otherwise, brace yourself for bumpy handling and the general lack of refinement you would expect from a budget compact. The Forenza presents a solid option for your first car and will ultimately get you where you need to go. However, anyone looking to take a seat in the lap of luxury will need to adjust their expectations.
