Pros

Safe, good mileage, good warranty.

Cons

Southern States sucks--the sales people are friendly, but the service department sucks!

Subaru Legacy — It has plenty of room, it's safe, and it gets good mileage. I have had some service related issues with it. My battery was leaking acid, and it had to be replaced. The side door panel was getting "de-laminated' and that had to get replaced. Luckily, Subaru offers good warranties. Any experience I've had dealing directly with Subaru North America has been great; however, the service at Southern States Subaru is absolutely TERRIBLE!

07 Legacy Gt — I love this car...performance, quality, appearance, and cost are all amazing. I Love the fact that i blacked it out. I wish that there were some more luxury options available, but overall its an amazing deal and there is nothing like an all wheel drive turbo car. I absolutely love this car

Pros

All Wheel Drive. Sporty Look. Handles Great.

Cons

Not use to turning the key over a little longer to get the engine started.

Subaru Legacy 2007 — I really like the feel and the look of the Legacy. Besides the All Wheel Drive, it handles great, especially in the snow and mud. I believe the body has a sporty look to it, especially the stock rims and the low profile tires and the duel exhaust. The sport shift is a nice touch.

Pros

A very simplistic dash layout, lots of neat little features, SI-Drive, stereo, that engine!

Cons

trim pieces are loose everywhere, mpg isn't stellar, a bit too much understeer.

25

A Sleeper If I've Ever Seen One — This car is a missile! sub 6 second 0-60 times and enough passing power to get you into a lot of trouble. While it does understeer in dry conditions, add a bit of slippery stuff and it's so easy to control. Rain, mud, snow? These are not things the LGT cares about. Makes a nice sound too and if you listen closely you can hear the shushing BOV. The interior is a nice place to be with a well laid out center stack and nice large gauges. The stereo, which sounds dang good for a stocker, has easy to reach, well labeled buttons. It took all of 45 seconds to get all my presets in and tune the 3 band eq. My one biggest complaint is that it seems a lot of the interior trim is loose or not screwed together very well. This results in light leaks around the third brake light and a squeak coming from on top and under the dash. Visibility is fantastic all around although it is a bit tough to tell where the back of the car is when parallel parking. I've averaged about 25 mpg highway of premium but my average speed was up around 75, slowing down a bit would've improved that number. Around town is in the neighborhood of 20. There are a lot of little things i.e. a clip in the rear deck to hold the center shoulder belt, SI-drive, frameless windows, no external antenna, etc. that really set the Legacy apart from the rest. You almost get the feeling that the car was designed by a person not a committee. Yes, there is a premium to pay, and yes you see tons of Legacys (at least in MN) but seldom do you get this kind of power, comfort and stealth all in one package.

Good power, fun transmission, nice exhaust tone, and responsive handling.

Cons

Interior leg room is lacking in some aspects, as well is storage space in the cabin.

2007 Lgt Spec.b — Decently quick car with LOTS of aftermarket potential. Going stage 1 or 2 is very easy and makes a big difference. Having a six speed manual makes it that much more fun to drive. The spec.B suspension is very nice too. The OTS maps for Cobb's AccessPORT increased mileage by 2-3 mpg while making the car faster.

The one I drove had some Turbo lag and wait for it... it was an automatic!!!

The Sti Tuned Version Would Be A Better Option In Manual Transmission Obviously — I LOVED THIS CAR! I loved its balance of power Appearance is to die for Cost of ownership isnt that of a tussle but as every Subaru owner knows is if you treat your car bad it'll treat you the same way. Fun factor: You can fit in as many speakers as you want in the trunk :p

Cons

nothing

Excellent — I love everything about this car, the performance is great, the accelerator is very responsive, so is the braking and it corners like dream. It gives very good mileage even if you "kind of" speed on the gighway to work in the mornings.

Pros

Quick, fun, safe

Cons

high insurance, takes premium octane

25

Loved It — Lemon. Turbo-lag. Eats Mustangs, Z's, most anything off the line, but because of the AWD there's not much high-end speed (136 mph is top end). It can boldly go where no "race-car" has gone before, and that's off roading. Awesome rally car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Beast of an engine, superb handling

Cons

No stability control

25

Better Than A 3 Series — Underrated family rocket, the boxer engine is superb, awd is amazing, reliability goes without saying. Fun to drive, but high on fuel consumption and wish it had stability control sometimes. Better than a 3 series BMW, faster than an M3 (Well mines is after I modified it!)
