The 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5i SE is a Special Edition of the popular wagon and sedan.  It has the same 2.5-liter, 173-hp, flat-4 engine and choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic as the base 2.5i.  What distinguishes it are the extra touches that added comfort and style.  These include a power sunroof (dual in the wagon), power seats, heated leather seats and heated mirrors, foglights, a security system, and leather and wood trim.  Like the 2.5i, the wagon also features a roof rack, rear spoiler, and rear wiper.
Stellar all-wheel drive performance, ABS brakes and six airbags are also standard.  Traction and stability control are not available.  Options add a cargo net, splash guards, and auto-dimming mirrors.
2007 Legacy 2.5i Special Edition owners praise theh all-wheel drive in cold climates, the standard features, tight handling, and comfortable interior.
