2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Spec.B Trim Overview

New as a standalone model for 2007 is the Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Spec.B, a turbocharged 2.5-liter, DOHC H4 that gets 243-hp.  It only comes as a sedan and with a 6-speed manual transmission straight out of the WRX.  No automatic is available, which is appropriate, as the all-wheel drive sedan is targeted at sports performance.  It sits on 18-inch alloy wheels and performance tires and features a new Torsen limited-slip differential.  It also has a sports-tuned suspension, ground effects, ABS brakes, VDC stability, and traction control.  A new SI-drive allows the driver to optimize engine performance by choosing between three selections -- Intelligent, Sport, and Sport Sharp.
But the sporty performance doesn't limit its upscale interior offerings.  Heated leather seats that are power adjustable and have memory settings head the list of standard features.  Also included are a trip computer, navigation system, cruise control, audio controls on the steering wheel, leather trim, dual-zone climate control, and MP3 compatibility.  The rear seats split-fold and have a trunk pass-through/armrest.
